MEASI Matriculation Higher Secondary School, established on 1st July 1985, began with a humble strength of 35 children in classes L.K.G. to Std. V. Through dedication and perseverance, the school has grown exponentially, now educating nearly 1,500 students. In 1987, the institution attained the prestigious status of a Matriculation school, followed by Higher Secondary recognition in 1988, under the guidance of the Managing Committee.
Our school emphasizes holistic education by blending academic excellence with moral and cultural values. Students are trained under the Samacheer syllabus from Std. I to IX, preparing them for the 10th Board Examination and the Higher Secondary Examination under the Directorate of Government Examinations, Tamil Nadu.
The medium of instruction is English, with options to learn Tamil, Hindi, Urdu, and Arabic.Equipped with state-of-the-art infrastructure, the campus features spacious classrooms, a two-storeyed main block, a three-storeyed administrative block, and a dedicated Kindergarten and Primary Section block. Modern laboratories for Computer Science, Physics, Chemistry, Botany, and Zoology enrich the learning experience. Additionally, our well-stocked library fosters a love for reading among students. Moral instruction and religious values form an integral part of our curriculum. Islamic religious education and Deeniyath classes are provided for Muslim students, ensuring character building and cultural grounding.
The Muslim Educational Association of Southern India (MEASI) traces its origins to the 15th Annual Session of the All India Muhammadan Educational Conference, held in Madras in 1901, where the idea of establishing the Association was first proposed. Officially incorporated as No. 18 of 1905-1906 under the Societies Act XXI of 1860, its founding president was Lord Boddam.
